We ordered the snapper fish and chips instead of the normal fish and chips and well worth the extra money. Squid rings and prawns also. Cooked to perfection, arrived on time. Highly recommend this place. Best fish and chips I have ever had. Thankyou.

Don't be put off by the daggy exterior because inside is where the best fish and chips in this area is made. The large number of people picking up their food would support that given the other chippies in the area. Crispy batter and chips, generous portions (two serves is enough for three) and ready on time if you order ahead. The battered snapper is the best we have had and the one piece of fish was huge. This is old school cooking by people who know what they are doing and we will definitely be returning.

Great fish and chips. The batter is crispy and light. The seafood basket was delicious and we really enjoyed the squid rings. Everything was cooked well. The service is friendly and efficient.

Melville fish and chips are friendly and happy staff. They have a beautiful clean establishment and the food is excellent. We have always got great service and the fish is lovely. Nice portions and fresh chips. Never oily. Highly recommend this place as it’s extremely great.
